Dough Bag! Own it brotha! Looks like he's a rookie. Took forever with a 100 pull ups for a easy dock
-
I guess it wasn't that easy.
SHOJim Thanks this. -
While the driver was wrong, wtf is a 53 doing there anyway!

P&D should be done with short boxes unless it's a straight load trailer going to a big place. Some of those places you have to get into are pretty tough. This was doable and he just screwed it up, but I've had deliveries I refused to attempt with 48 or 53 ft trailers. Not often but once it awhile if I knew the place and knew it was a stupid idea.

I did better than that at 15 moving my dad's trucks around the yard. I don't understand why he kept repeating the same motion over and over and repeatedly beating the fence. Like dude whatever you did the first 3 times didn't work, so it obviously isn't going to work the next 3 times either.

Exactly... What a fool. He didn't even set up correctly to begin with.G13Tomcat, RustyBolt, LindaPV and 1 other person Thank this.

No reason to hit the fence. Poor approach and no GOAL with all those obsticals. Sheesh

"Ma'am, I need to inform you of something... I know you all didn't do it, because it's really stupid, but someone put a fence at the edge of your property. I think it was your competition trying to prevent deliveries here. I moved the fence for you, but I will require a $250 Fence Relocation Fee. Payable with cash only."

The #1 first thing he did wrong was not pull up far enough to swing the trailer close to the fence on the drivers side and then follow it up into the dock. If you look at the pavement, you can clearly see how most of the drivers tackle that location. The tire marks are close to the left side of the gate.
I see this so much. Drivers don't want to take that extra 5, 10, or 15 feet necessary to set up better and get a better angle toward the target. They want to just twist the trailer into the dock, then they get pinched out in front, or they damage something on the blind side.
Sometimes there just isn't enough room, but in this situation, there was, and he should have used it.Last edited: Feb 21, 2016
