    Now THAT RIGHT THERE is the mark of a professional truck driver. He followed his "gut instinct" that something wasn't right. In this case, it worked out that everything WAS right. But how much easier to make the call he made, than it is to make the call and tell them, "HELP! I'M IN TROUBLE!"

    I was making a pick up in BFE PA GPS gave me directions that did not match written ones from company choose to follow written and just as I start to make my right I see signs ahead paused and read NO TRUCKS TRAILER COMBOS OVER 27' plus a 10ton weight limit backed back onto the shoulder called in and had to go back take my GPS route.
    Honestly I get more bad directions from company and office personal than my GPS but paying attention and a little brain activity tend to avoid 99% of problems.
