By golly, as much as I paid for my GPS, I AM going to rely on it. If it leads me astray, I will SUE THE MANUFACTURER!

So just how did you tame "Samantha?" All I could do with her, is turn her off. (Much like a bunch of gals I tried to date years ago, but that is for another story. . .)

Yeah, if he had 20K in bricks on board, that bridge would be history. But if he had 42K in feathers on board, it would have been all right. . .And to think they pay these idiot "newscasters" good money.

Probably a 5150 (mental health,) hold, along with pee test and hair follicle test. I do understand what you are saying though Grumppy. I had a friend who was a brittle diabetic that killed himself and several others when he went into a coma behind the wheel of his pickup. HOPEFULLY, no brittle diabetic will have a class A though.

This is still pretty hard to believe, and if we didn't have the links and the pix, I'd put it down to "just another trucker's tail. er tale. . .

 

My guess is as a youngster he was the one who always made the square peg fit into the round hole

As we all know, there are many people that should not be behind the wheel for what ever reasons. Please don't be an idiot. We see them at school, we see them on the road. If you are too dumb to realize you should not be trying to make a living driving professionally. I pray that someone, somehow takes you off the road. forever.

In my previous field (IT), what caused this was visual basic. Many dangerous people thought they could "program" because the industry "was under staffed" and visual basic made it "easy". Hence a lowering of wages and continuing breaches of privacy.

Please god save us all. Lol.

There's been several threads on this.

 

Stupid can be highly contagious. The driver would have been placed in quarantine in a separate wing of the hospital that is only activated for extreme cases.

 

When my GPS tells me to do something I tell her to shut up and push the mute button.

 

You must not browse the forum,there's a good 20 threads on this driver if not more.He's became quite the celebrity.He should have been fined a lot more.

 

Hey you do have to give the guy some credit for successfully driving the truck over the first footbridge before getting stuck on the second. That's not easy.

 

This is like the story of the women who sued Google because she got hit by a car walking across a busy street due to her GPS saying to cross at that point.
