you aint been at this long enough to cut someone else down, think about that -
Have to be pretty darn DENSE when you approach the first foot bridge without realizing your TRUCK is going to barely fit

Great story. So what's your question?

I consider myself something of a mind reader. I think he is trying to say he will make an excellent truck driver but he cant quite conquer internet forums and he wanted to know how we feel about that.HotH2o Thanks this.

i think we have all been places we shouldnt be
sometimes, you mistake a turn, and with no turnaround, you just keep going, just hoping for a light at the end of the tunnel
he probably went there at night before, no lights, saw he made a mistake and there was no room to turn around, so he hoped there would be an opening coming up soon
i got stuck on a crop road in oregon many years ago, that would have entertained the news people too if they had had a helicopter and video
stuff happens -
We've all made that wrong turn before sure. But that's when common sense should take over. Get out, look around, assess the situation. Don't just keep going and hope for the best. Trying to drive a 70' truck over not one, but two footbridges in the middle of a city park looking for a way out is being a bit overly optimistic IMO.

You're right. The PTL incident is still under investigation, so there may be more to it than meets the eye; perhaps a medical situation. What he did is not normal thinking or decision making. Friend of mine started doing odd things; went to doctor and diagnosed with early onset Alzheimer's at the age of 45 yrs. old.
I'm far from perfect, so I give people the benefit of the doubt.
