$400 is decent money a day as long as it's pocket money after fuel. It still needs to be itemized because of the 400 other expenses that will eventually need to be paid

$400/mile would be nice. Probably hauling nitro glycerine. Lol

I would haul a lit stick of dynamite for $400.00 per mile LMAO !!!

I haul it to mines, trust me it doesn't pay $400 per mile ($400 per day barely)... Its the same as hauling any explosive, it doesnt matter how big the boom is because they all kill you the same. -

I've been looking at Prime since company drivers get their own truck after several months of driving with a trainer. They also offer an okay deal for getting my CDL.
If you want your own truck, you can lease or go company, and to have your own truck as a company driver, you may have to look around.
For me, I realize I need to take what I can get and be greatful.
At my age, I don't have a lot of choices and trucking -- the good, the bad and the ugly -- is worth looking into.
I am actually looking forward to the challenge!
Also, I realize I don't have the right to be really choosy and demanding of this and that when I'm just starting out.
Nothing more obnoxious than a demanding noob.
