Its the #1 mistake I ever made. Been there for 9 months and they convince you to sign a lease with them getting hooked by the terms "O/O get peid more than company driver. Bulls...t!!! Leasing tells you that they give you 2 weeks to pay your first leasing and my first check with them was $52 after 2 weeks. 3400 miles one week I got paid $500. Even if I save for nessesary diesel. That company is a ripoff. You see in your statements the waterfall of overcharges that they take off. Some of the dispatchers violate the 10 break sleep rule like a game. Night dispatch and some dashift dispatch are not DOT oriented and some of them are harrasing creeps without truck driving experience.

Never lease to a carrier with mostly company drivers. Period.
TST65 and Elboricua2018 Thank this. -
How many successful lease purchase stories have been posted on these forums? Maybe a handful, and even a few of these seem suspect at best. How many failed lease purchase tales of woe and misery have we heard? Pretty much every other day!
Folks, do NOT lease purchase a truck. Not from TransAm or anywhere else. You are little more than a company driver making truck payments without benefits. And you are shouldering all the business risk if the tide turns against you.Western flyer, Big Trip, TST65 and 2 others Thank this. -
it is not a dispatcher violating a 10 hr. rule, the driver is captain of the ship. 10 hours means 10 hours. As for all the add on charges, they are in business to make money and you are a revenue stream.
VerifiedInsane, TST65, IluvCATS and 2 others Thank this. -
Decker? CRST? Wild West? TransAm? Lets just say that your track record is less than stellar....Paddlewagon, buddyd157, Broke Down 69 and 4 others Thank this.
