I saw a thing on Greyhound about them doing training. I took it as if you didn't have to have the 3 years. I could be wrong.

Keep trying!
I drive a 6 axle dump here in Ohio. The company I'm with is a small outfit. They hired me with no dump experience and only about 4 months driving experience total. They trained me on everything I needed to know. I've been doing it for about 8 months now and it's great. Pay isn't remarkable, but it's solid, and we have good equipment and benifets.
You just have to find the right company that's willing to train you. Make sure they have decent trucks and pay hourly. You don't want percentage pay just starting out. Good luck!
