    Recently my husband started working for this company if that's what you want to call it,the owner Miguel Castro he wants his drivers to pay for repairs out of their own paycheck,right now my husband is stranded something to do with the starter? So he calls owner and advises him of what's going on,that he already tried to do whatever he could possibly do as he is Not a mechanic,he proceeds to let owner know that he needs to call road service;owners response:"Well if you do call road service, then it will come out of your paycheck!" Am not sure what he is supposed to do,he is on 95 in CA 10 miles S of Needles/ (90 miles north of quartzite go quartzite to parker az to needles CA =(. Any advise?:mconfused:

    Sure iit's starter ? Bang on starter, make sure power is going to starter. If all that has been done then
    If there is any way to unhook from trailer, get pulled (bump start) then take truck and trailer to delivery or yard so as not to have abandment on D A C report and find a new employer asap !
    Might be worth the cost for minor repair to get back to yard then find new employment

    So, he stopped on the side of the road 10 miles south of Needles and shut the engine off ? Not too smart, anyway, he's at the mercy of anyone who will stop and help.

    Nope he didn't stop,the truck turned off on him,luckily he got it started made it to his drop now he is stranded with no money nor transportation the owner Miguel Castro doesn't want to send him money nor road service he expects my husband to get the truck running he says that all truckers know how to fix!

    just go pick your husband up and tell miguel all owners know how to get their trucks fixed..see because hubby is the driver,He is paid to DRIVE the truck .ONLY..you would'nt hire a plumber to do your taxes would you ?

    So husband is finally home,hope he does'nt plan on continue to drive for this cheap ### POS .If so then husband has noone to blame but himself because he knows what the owner is like.How long has he been driving for Miguel?Has hubby had to pay for any repairs or had to fix something?My last company tried that number with me many times.I told him you pay me what a mechanic would charge or it does'nt get fixed.I won't put up with BS.If the owner would rather have you sit till you the driver comes up with a solution then fine just sit there.
