I had one lizard that would knock on my door every time I was at a now closed stop on US 287 in Texas. The last time when I pulled the curtain back, I took her picture. Told her so I could show the cops who is hooking there.
She said she confused me with someone else. Turned out another driver from my company was a regular customer of hers.

Use to be a guy hanging around Winn Dixie Tampa claiming to be a driver who needed money to buy new fuel filters.
Two weeks later I’m there and he was still looking for money. I had a good laugh telling him he needed a new story.usamerica, MartinFromBC and tscottme Thank this. -
Since getting onto the regional in 2020, I haven't noticed them much. Either more security, more post pandemic hostility from drivers themselves, or they all use gofundme or onlyfans!!!
MartinFromBC Thanks this. -
I was once awoken by a crazy woman banging on my door at 2 AM. I was really pissed I had to get up to let her out.

For the 1.5 years I was OTR, the only door knockers I had were either angry employees telling me I can't sleep on their property, or angry employees telling me I'm loaded/unloaded and to leave the property. Maybe if I had a nice shiny peterbilt I'd get some attention.
