Door won't open

    LT. Driver side won't open from inside. I've got connecting cable, but I don't see how can I hook it to the lock. Do I need to remove lock?

    Need more info. Is the door just stuck and wont open from either side? Or will it work if you juggle the lock? Or is it just the inside. Did you replace anything? Did you disassemble.the door or latch? What year truck?

    The same thing happened to me on the LT I was driving. The mechanics at our shop told me that they ended up having to break the outside handle off in pieces in order to reach the rod to open the door. He couldn't get the inside panel off with the door closed.

    I can open the door from outside, but I couldn't attach new cable to the lock. And there is a piece of old cable there.

    If you can get the window down try fishing for the lever on the latch with a coat hanger wire or slim jim from the inside pushing slight pressure on the door. Might take some time. Get door open then remove inside panel.

    Is there a clip on it or is it one of them crimped on deals? May need a small 10” or 12” bolt cutter to cut the old connection off the lever.
