DOT and Virginia state inspection

    Will a DOT inspection meet the requirments of a state inspection (Virginia ) ????? Or do you need both ???

    In some states you have to have both. I don't know about VA. Call your local DMV and they will be able to give you the information you are looking for.

    If your truck has a Va. state tag, then you should have a Va. state inspection sticker and once you have a Va. sticker, you do not need a Federal inspection.
