So here's what's going on. Back in April of this year (2018) I applied through Roehl as a student. They sent me to a local urgent care (Conentra) for my DOT physical. I'm 5'10 and at that time I was 380. I've now dropped 50 pounds. So I passed everything with flying colors and then he brought up my BMI of course. He said it was too high (which I know, my heaviest was 415) and that he would only approve me for a 3 month card and that I needed to take an at home sleep study to see if I have sleep apnea or not. Well I called Roehl to see if they can assist me with it and they said no and can't accept me on a 3 month card. Well, I'm a single dude, no family, so money is tight and let my permit and medical card go and figure I would just ride out my lease and go with a company that helps with things like that. So speed up to present time. I've been talking with U.S. Xpress and they originally told me that if that happened again that they would accept me on a 3 month card and once hired on, since I get benefits day 1 that if anything needed to be taken care of I could handle it at that time to get compliant. So I put my notice in to let my apartment go and have to be out of here on the 27th of next month. Well, they now tell me today that they pulled me up on the FMCSA and I'm flagged for needing a CPAP and that I either need to get one or get a release form from my doctor. This makes absolutely no sense to me why I would be flagged if I've never even held my Class-A nor have I ever been officially diagnosed with sleep apnea and why I wouldn't be able to go to another doctor for a second opinion. This just doesn't sound right to me at all.
Does anyone have any experience with dealing with this type of issue? If so, what can I do? I'm flat broke and about to be homeless in a month.
DOT Physical-3 month card, now need a sleep study.

Check out Apneamed.org. It is a fraction of the cost of a traditional sleep study. You may need to have your doctor refer you to apneamed in order to use the service for insurance purposes. You’ll spend hundreds with these guys instead of thousands the traditional way.

Anytime you're consider overweight on the BMI they going to assume you have sleep apnea. Because when you're overweight the excessive fatty tissue around the throat cause it to collapse when you relax and block the airway. Which means you're not getting REM sleep and can cause sleepiness during the day. That raises the red flag with DOT.
