If you don't have a portal account, you need to register and create one before you try to register for the Clearinghouse. You have to give access permission from the portal to the Clearinghouse.

Lol, took me and my wife a minute too. If you are setup as the Admin, once you click on the Admin home page you should see it toward the bottom of the page .

 

If you are not showing as the Admin on the Clearinghouse, go to the portal website, hit Account Management, My Profile, Portal Roles/US DOT , click on your DOT #, then under available roles click DACH Motor Carrier Admin, click Add Role. Then update profile.

Hope that helps, that is what we had to do. Then on the Clearinghouse we could choose admin and add the TPA information.

 

I just noticed it has me listed as assistant. Have to wait and see if it updates

 

Same way it did me. My wife is the one that finally figured out we had to go back to the portal and change to Motor Carrier Admin. It should update if you log out and back in.

 

I’ve had enough of playing with it for one day. Now the only thing that shows on the clearinghouse is the driver screen and I tried going back to the portal and all I get is a blank screen.

 

After trying several times yesterday I was finally able to log in and make changes at 05:00. I was able to setup the consortium, but now it’s cleared out my cdl info and when I try to update the server times out.

 

The name itself sounds like a sleep study.....

Was able to finally get everything completed yesterday. I don’t know if the problem was on my end or what, but I purchased a query plan Saturday to see if it works and just received the email receipt this morning.
