are you salivating at the thought of turning him in? 1-800-328-7448 is a good dime dropping number. 3=E 2=A 8=T 7=S 4=H etc.
I firmly believe the intention/potential is yet again revenue enhancement and/or the potential to cripple our economy even more.or both. experimental for bigger projects Class a) or a stepping stone.your choice.out of control gov't but that is another forum area i know.

i was talking to an Averitt driver today, he got a log violation for continuing on after his 14hr clock, he was 12 miles from home
Today, drove a total of 300 miles because of a drop a pickup fuel and another drop. my 14 hour clock was over two hours ago, i am 40 miles from home
according to you guys, i should sit in a truckstop for the night
now i hear Rand McNally already has ONE MAN, ONE TRUCK electronic logs available
each one of you guys are adding a nail into our collective coffinHalpinUout, SheepDog, that65 and 3 others Thank this. -
I'm at a receiver now they don't have a way to offload me ended up driving 162miles away to another location same thing said come back tomorrow I said well I'll be here in the truck they said no sir you must go somewhere else so at 8pm I'm over my 14 and can't stay here after only logging 3hours of drive time today......so what you think I had to do!!!!

Wwwwaaaaaahhhhh!
there are thousands of us on elogs making money.
Law of supply and demand should cause the rates to go up. Given a pool of freight, there will now be fewer trucks available to move that freight. Elogs eliminates those trucks willing to cheat their logs to move that freight. Evens the playing field. Those guys who should be on a break or don't have the hours to move that pool, aren't part of the equation
eliminates those two face o/o drivers that always run around claiming to be honest and hard working, always getting screwed by the man, meanwhile cheating on their logs and cheating those who play by the rules.
if you don't run legal you are a liar. There is no grey -
I'm on loose leaf and have a lighter. I'm gonna make money here while I can, then when the law goes into effect, I'm going with a company that's been using elogs for a few years that hopefully has a clue to utilize a drivers time. Until then I guess I'll just be a lying SOB. With that said do I like having to fudge? Not really, but where I'm at it's the only way to make a decent living.

I don't really have any criticism of drivers that cheat on their logs, nor should anybody else as long as drivers are cheated out of pay for all the work they do that isn't directly related to driving.
If companies start compensating us for our on-duty time, then I'd be the first to preach legal logging, but until that happens I'm all for drivers maximizing their income to offset being screwed in other ways.10speed, Ann Eiffel, knightrider77 and 5 others Thank this. -
I wouldn't mind having an eld if they would change the hos rules to allow for stopping the 14 clock to allow for a break for a : nap, meal, shower, etc.. Losing work time because a driver decides to pull over to take a nap would seem to encourage drivers to continue driving when tired during their work day. And for me a nap is 3 hours, then I feel great. Imo , the problem is a lack of flexibility. If I have 14 hours to work, I would prefer to chose when I use them. In other words , if I wanna work seven hours then sleep a few hours and then work the other seven, how is it more fatiguing than working 14 hours straight (minus that oh so restful 30 minute break) ? I am in favor of taking breaks. I used to take a few during my workday before the 14 hour rule came along. I was more rested and relaxed when I had more flexibility.
Bashnya, russellkanning and knightrider77 Thank this.
