This ^ stop grand standing and bloody do something or step down and put someone in charge who WILL. 160 million in a state with a budget of 300 billion dollar budget is nothing its not even a slap on the wrist. Its not even a ROUNDING error. Until heads metaphorically roll, until every single authority in cali is revoked for non federal complaince, until they do more then yammer. Its talk. Plain and simple.

Yeah, Duffy just doesn't have the tone that many of this administrations secretaries do. When this president picked his cabinet members in this 2nd term, he picked all pitbulls. Whose demeanor can be quickly understood. He ain't playing and his cabinet aint playing. Sean Duffy is more of a Collie than a pitbull. He don't have that hard, serious bark, like most of the cabinet members. When they speak, there is no doubt. Duffy does not have that demeanor. He is having to learn to get tough. I'm not sure he has gotten there yet. I'm sure he will eventually get tough but he just doesn't portray it like the others.
10 million and 160 million ain't gonna faze California and Gavin Newsom though. They're gonna have to get really serious when they deal with California to get their attention. 200 million is just drop in the bucket to Cali. But taking their ability to give out CDLs is gonna be a problem for them. They'll work around it, but at least it'll be a nuisance. They'll just have to send their people to Oregon or Washington state to get CDLs. Gavin will just work out something with those idiots.

What if I told you that the actual new ELP roadside inspection regulation was directed at FMCSA inspectors..

    Anyone actually read it?

    Anyone care about facts?
Read the entire article, you may learn something.

Please read and open the memo link and you decide.
California said that the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration's May 20 memo updating enforcement procedures for ELP "is clearly directed to the Agency’s own employees and agents."

Look, for all that want to know, as mentioned, a few hundred million dollars won't stop a thing with California or any other state for that matter. However, suspending all authorities within the state of California can stop ~$95 billion (per quarter) worth of outbound freight from domestic production, which will put a hell of a dent into the economy and force something to be done. This will put a hell of a lot of pressure on Newsom and the entire state legislature to fix the problems or collapse.

It is stupid to think that Duffy can't or should not do something this drastic to fix a real problem; we do not need people dying.

End non-domicile CDLs and revoke those that exist.

Does anyone know why Duffy can’t revoke all non domiciled cdls? there’s a reason :)

Has anyone read the emergency order on non domiciled cdls or just what some Bozo says on you boob?

In short, only non domiciled cdls that aren’t currently compliant will be revoked.

The remaining compliant non domiciled cdls have a two year grace period. Then will be revoked and reissued under the new federal regulations.

So essentially nothing is truly being done..just smoke and mirrors.
