I rather enjoyed getting my Level 1 a couple weeks ago in Arkansas. State Trooper Jennifer Evans, Trooper badge number 714...

I-30 EB out of Texarkana. She even gave me a receipt. I do highly recommend pulling into the scale.

think again, go read the acts that govern the cdl programs and authorities before accusing anyone of misinformation and making sh*** up.

the federal government has a lot of power when it comes to interstate commerce, it is right there in the constitution and this power that is granted to the feds which can not be delegated to the states.

this is the foundation of the regulations we all operate under.

States, every one of them has agreed in both principle and practice to either follow those regulations or have tougher ones when it comes to interstate commerce and transportation.

no exceptions when it comes to licensing.

what Duffy can do is to tell the state that all of those cdls issued by the state are invalid - REVOKED - for interstate commerce and transportation during a presumed time period of non-compliance. This is within his powers, he can not revoke the actual license but he can prevent the use of those licenses to drive outside the issuing state. I simplified it.

He also can use the driver qualification issues with a specific state to have the entire license system audited to ensure that the non-English and those with an invalid immigration status - invader - are not being issued cdls.

while the states can issue drivers licenses, the cdl program is governed by the federal government and the issue of safety along with the enforcement of compliance sits only with the feds.

 

Duffy is a Limp biscuit Cabinet appointee who has no backbone.

Leaning on Duffy is not gonna accomplish anything. He's not our savior.

Now if Tom Homan was in charge of CDL's and not Immigration, we might get trucking back together in another 10 years.

Homan is busy with Immigration. There both outta here in 2 years.

This problem has been decades in the making.

California did violate federal regulations by giving that illegal a CDL… So Sean Duffy is 100% correct on that particular issue…
