Doug at CustomCBRadios?

That is the one and only thing about Doug that I don't care for. He is a one man show and can't keep up with the orders etc. Too bad because he IS the best in the business.

Maybe his business is doing so well he doesn't feel it necessary to take on any more work.He seems to on his forum quite a bit,but I wouldn't wait any longer and take my business elsewhere.There are other techs out here who do as good and better work who will respond promptly.I was not impressed with the work he did for me.After waiting what I considered way too long for the repair, the radio was returned with 2 of the 3 issues not repaired while I was assured the radio was repaired.

 

Doug is a good tech but as Rat said he is a one man show and he stay very busy. You could call at Al at Sparkys he is very good also but he also stays very busy but you can usually get hold of him by phone during business hours. Doug used to work for him. Either one is a wise choice.

I have some stuff that was done up by Doug while he was at Sparkys. I also have stuff sitting on my shelves that were done by many other techs across the country while I was running over the road.

I place Doug and Al (sparky) at the top of my list.

 

Well tell me who this radio god is. I don't personally know any radio techs in Minnesota.

 

Try the shoutbox on his forum.He's probably not in the "shop" much now,the "porch" is probably pretty cold this time of year.
