When we had ours baked at 250K the Pocatello Kenworth shop took it out and we ran it to the bake shop in Idaho Falls because we were on a tight schedule.

wasn’t very expensive and got us down the road for another 250 K.

I also had very good service from the Heyburn Kenworth shop, and they have access to aftermarket DPF’s.

Just want to thank everyone for your replies. My first time dealing with emissions problems so to say I’m a little nervous would be an understatement.

Ended up going to Jackson Group Peterbilt early this morning. Figured I needed them to hook it up for a diagnosis before I did anything else.
They got me into the shop around noon. DPF was plugged beyond what a regen could clean. They got it put into the oven to clean it. Supposedly takes 5 hours. What really surprised me is that they said I’m still under warranty but only by a couple thousand miles.

Because they think there’s an underlying problem causing the filter to plug up they got Cummins involved to help figure it out.

Ended up taking a taxi to the Best Western in Jerome..didn’t realize that I probably could have just walked, lol.

Not a bad place for being the only place so it’s a little pricey imo. We’re allowed to take one complimentary beer out of the Pepsi machine after 6pm :)

Good deal— you get a Uber to take you up the road a couple miles to Fat Clarence’s — tell CR to go F himself for me if you do— he’ll understand

Lol, I don’t need anymore dental problems in case CR doesn’t understand, lol.

    Besides, I got a MaDonnah’s right outside my private terrace :) IMG_5426.jpeg IMG_5427.jpeg

There’s this shop in Funtucky(Fontana) Commiefornia, that uses a solution he calls “The Dip”, cleans it better than baking it. $250.00.

At least it was under warranty. You may want to look at using Max Mileage since you idle a lot. Might prevent it from happening again.

I’d rather just put it in permanent regen until it bursts into flames :)

They’re still waiting for Cummins to figure it out so I booked another night at the Ritz, lol.

I really don’t understand any of this bs but there’s a reason why it’s getting so bad and unable to burn the crap off. Maybe a sensor not activating until it’s too late? I’m not even going to pretend that I have any clue!

The Volvo has a 7th injector that is a sensor that if it is not working will do just what happened to yours. The idling is a killer based off everything I have read but I have only read mainly about the D13 on Volvo.
I am glad I have a great relationship with my dealer. They will work with any other shop if I am down to help get me going. Also they are one of the bigger shops in the USA for Volvo. Never have to wait to get in if I need in right away and take care of me every time. I will never own any other kind of truck as long as I live in that area.
