Looking for suggestions,,,,,,, 08 389 Pete with C15. Dash warnings are lighting up.... the amber one and the red stop sign looking one. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to make this stop. It did regen while driving and also was able to do regen while not rolling.... this is the first time this is happening since getting the truck 2 months ago. Thanks for the help.

Worst problem child out ... there's a major settlement on that engine with the dpf.. motor is great however emission system is in the shop monthly for many who lost their shirts repairing the exact same issue again and again ...

truck is at Peterbilt as of this morning. they pulled some codes. they took the DPF off and sent it out to be cleaned, won't know more until they get the filter back and they run the truck.......sucks

I had one of these engines. It was going to bankrupt me if I did not get rid of the truck.
Get rid of the truck or "fix" it once and for good. You need to search that stuff from other websites.
You might try @dustinbrock on here. He has one and apparently it works well for him. Unsure of what he did or maybe he got one of the half dozen or so that weren't big boat anchors.JerseyShoreTrucker Thanks this. -
Once I get the truck back from service, yes I am going to sell it and get a pre emission one. I think that is the best way to go at this point. I can't take a chance that it will happen again in a month. Based on what I have read.......it happens over and over.........

I hope you didn't pay a lot for the truck. They don't fetch much in resale. You may want to explore your other options .....
