DPF Issues

I didn't come up with the theory, I just repeated what he told me.

 

Smaller less powerful engine will work harder to move the same weight......

In theory.....(I guess)

 

When the time comes to take out the DPF filter get full clean up .
What should happen before that
Check engine light should come on
Or regen light keep comes on and asking about regen ?

 

Now that's a proper trucker fix to a problem. Think about it with a brain and solve it without any fancy math or "certifications". True common sense. Granted, I'd still get it properly inspected, seeing as how it's an early DPF system, could be in need of a proper fix.
