I forgot about the EOBR tracking system being able to tell. I just don't know if the news outlets would have had access to this info that quickly to broadcast though; it seems like that would be something the trucking company would be keeping mum on because of the lawsuits.

Never mind all the electronics, physics is pretty simple and straightforward. Accident reconstruction is generally well defined.

While DPS officials are still waiting for the medical examiner to confirm the identities of the I-10 crash victims, family members told CBS 5 these the victims who died in the accident are Tara Fisher, Lana Food and five children - Julian Flores, Tori Sanchez, Tyler Harper and Damian and Dominic Fisher.
Authorities said that they have yet to determine what caused Sunday's fatal crash, but there is reason to believe that Mireles may have had some kind of medical condition that contributed to the crash.

For those wishing to donate to a memorial fund for the victims, an account has been set up at National Bank of Arizona.
The account number is: 0463034418. It is for the benefit of the Lana Flood family.
