Look at it this way. If you have a critical event and doing nothing wrong then all should be good. If you have one and you are seen in the wrong like leaning over to grab food or something else on the seat and you swerve or hard brake then you are in the wrong and deserve to be caught. Today passed one of our young drivers in a day cab, his cool shades and his left leg up on the dash. I can remember when the no hand held cell phone law came out and right after that 3 drivers where caught on the PHX yard and guess what, their phones up to their ear and they were driving.

I like the room and storage of a couple other makes, but I like my Volvo.
I used to like the storage in the Volvo's, but they did away with the overhead cupboards.

Volvo's have better mirrors than most, and better sun visors than any other.

This has been the most reliable truck I've ever had, possibly excluding the Cascadia. But I only had that truck for a month before I was forced to give it up to a team.

Volvos have good sun visors but 8 think the kw t680 beats it everywhere else once you learn how to back it.

    So, what?
    Is it longer, or wider?
What is so difficult about the T680?

If you Google lytx instal it says that the camera can store 200 20sec video segments. Now granted not sure it's the same camrea. But also if you go over any rough road it triggers the camera to record. What it says in the faq section on the install pdf so.........

its i believe an 8 inch longer wheel base as well as the tires simply cannot turn as much. easiest way to explain it is if you do the text book setup for a 45 a kenworth need 1 truck width wider of room to do it.

you can turn a volvo inside the turning radius of a kenworth.

Its not that the KW is harder to be back its just different as it takes forever to turn. You can get a volvo is much tighter places then a KW because of the turning differences and size differences.

I drive a Volvo 780 with the I-Shift. I love it. The truck has spoiled me rotten.

The company I'm with has driver facing cams. Driving on I-40 through Tennessee earlier this year. The camera went off a thousand times from all of the pot holes.

I drive the T-680 and prior to that the 660 Studio. I find that this backs up a lot easier than the 660. The 660 studio had a longer wheel base.

Absolutely ditto. I HATED the times I got "stuck" with a 660, still have lumps on the top of my head from the ###### low doors and ceiling above the driver's seat. Hated trying to do gymnastics to get around the stick to get into the sleeper berth or back into the driver's seat, and really hated the lower floor area in the living quarters with the rug. Like... how ARE you supposed to keep a rug clean that you can't take out?

By comparison the 680 is great. It is my favorite truck I've ever driven to date. Comfortable, roomy, quiet, and easy to drive. It's also the most stable truck I've driven in slick conditions. Comparing it to the Cascadia, I'd say the Cascadia is quite a bit more "squirrely" when it gets greasy. Never once had an issue with yaw with the 680.

Turning radius on the 680 is comparable to the Cascadia.
