Driver accidently runs over large boulder in Ikea parking lot, drags it onto I-205

    Strange thing was that not only was he disabled on the side of the road when the LEO arrived, he didn't have enough sense to quickly update his log book when he pulled off the side. I mean, you just KNOW that someone is going to show up with the marks you just made for well over a mile...and to NOT have your log book up to date!

    How could this driver not have known there was something inhibiting his rigs performance?

    Kind of like the driver for a company I worked with about a decade ago. Told to go get a loaded trailer and pull it somewhere in the area of 1000 miles. The load was only about 6K pounds.

    He grabs the wrong one, and off he goes. The one he grabs has over 43K in the wagon. He gets over half-way before it's discovered and he has to return.

    Common sense and intuition has left the facility.
