Truck driver arrested at Interstate 20 exit 108 after alleged assault

    Uh oh.......

OUACHITA PARISH, La. (KNOE) - Authorities have arrested a truck driver from Alabama after an alleged assault at the 108 exit on Interstate 20.

According to the Ouachita Parish Sheriff's Office, deputies responded to a report of an aggravated assault around 5:54 Wednesday morning.

Investigators say a commercial truck driver, 38-year-old Jeremy Cantrell, forced two passengers from his vehicle while armed with a handgun. Investigators say the passengers were women.

When deputies arrived, the truck was parked at the 108 exit and the suspect was still inside, investigators say. The incident sparked a heavy law enforcement presence.

After a short time, the suspect was taken into custody. Investigators say no one was hurt and no shots were fired.

Cantrell was booked at OCC on charges of aggravated assault, possession of a firearm in the presence of a controlled substance, and possession of methamphetamine.

Mugshot will be added when it becomes available.

Yeah I remember when Rick James said that on the Chappelle show. LoL. But I figured this guy being a truck driver and being from Alabama most likely had a fresh batch of good old homemade hillbilly bathtub meth.
Either way this guy just destroyed his whole future what a dumb butt.

I didn't think about that I just figured they probably cut him off or something.
And the guy being an insane hillbilly all hopped up on methamphetamine probably thought it was a great idea to pull his gun out on a couple of women.
