Six months puts us at Q1 24, the way I understand your point is that Q1 will be the final bottom and then next years bid season sees a sustained rise. So Q2 of 24 is the start of the upswing?

Sure, with the caveat that this is a complete and total spitball at this point. I've given up trying to read the tea leaves of the capacity cycle after the last few years; there's only so many times you can be wrong before you throw your hands up in disgust. That said, if 2018-2019 is any indication, when the rate cliff hits, it feels like it's about six months to a year before the weaker-positioned players fold.

Is there any particular data points you will watch at that time to give reference or to gauge the nature of the shift as it occurs? For example some are strong proponents of tender rejections as a confirmation signal.

Biggest thing for me is when I see the slowdown of newer MCs trying to book freight.

Because you won’t come out and say why it matters so much to you if any brokers closed down or not, so it seems to the general public that you’re just trying to place blame on the brokers for low rates when it’s due to overcapacity on the truck side.

It doesn't matter to me. What does matter to me is being called ignorant for calling out someone who overstated things a bit....and STILL refuses to provide an example

Then again, had you read the entire segment, you'd know that, yeah?

I was making a point, if you read down further you’ll see our conversation.
I wasn’t asking how to obtain direct clients for myself.

Thanks for the helpful advice though.

Sarcasm font. If you had 12 wives you'd notice it better.
