funny thing is if you post that load now, it would have been taken. Hell it would have been taken when it was available.

    Sucker born every minute.

They'd take the load and somewhere around the middle of all those drops it would start to dawn on them that they weren't making any money. It would take that long to figure it out because they didn't take any time before they accepted the load.
One thing about this recession...those kind usually get weeded out.

I don’t know about the weeded out this time around. This batch is resilient.

Hell of it is, she was getting the freight moved. It was taking her a week or more in some instances, but I just for the life of me could not figure out how. I think I only ever attempted two loads for her, both were one pick with two drops, and they dropped within a hundred miles of each other. As it was, I just posted and went. I just looked and neither me, nor my colleague ever moved anything for them.

Still early days yet in the down cycle. We'll see. I had a conversation the other day with a gentleman who was very concerned about going out of business. He was tickled to death that I got him an extra thousand for a re-delivery three hundred miles away. Wasn't his or my fault; consignee failed to communicate with my customer until my driver was already at their shop. The relief in his voice was palpable, and it was a real bummer to hear. Man has been driving for years, and got his authority at the tail end of 2021. Just sounded like he was overleveraged. I hope he pulls it out; he was a ###### good dude to work with.
