Can a driver find a job if convicted with physical control under influence and no suspended license?

What does that even mean? Is that not the same as DUI/OUI in your state?

    Riffman Thanks this.

Physical control under influence looks to be a states way of punishing someone for trying to do the right thing. Basically it's being in the drivers seat, drunk, but not moving. Parked and 'sleeping in off' is a common way to get this one. Some states treat it less than a DUI, some the same.

As to the OP, all I personally can say is call around and ask the recruiters.

Have a buddy that got something like that. He took the company pickup to the bar after work, out of town construction type work, and got plastered. Was way too drunk to drive back to the hotel so he passed out in the front seat.

That's just stupid. What if you get drunk in your house and have your car keys on the kitchen table? Technically you're "in control" of a vehicle then too.

    Aamcotrans and LindaPV Thank this.
