never that exact term before but every audit I've been through the auditor will choose a driver and a time frame and he will "investigate" the fuel receipts, toll receipts, logs, credit card reciepts etc to make sure he's following the rules.

Yabba Yabba Yabba..............Ive been through an IFTA/Irp Audit..An IRS audit ANd a FMCSA audit..
They aint big deals...Then again Im just a 1 truck small Pipsqueak.... They come to my home..But dont stay Long.....
They view EVERYTHING they ask for...Yeah they find some discrepencies...And I give them the old "Well,Im gettin old and I cant keep good records of receipts etc etc..The Soft shoulder WORKS!!
i end up with like a small Bill due...No Big Deal.. I think my last IFTA audit I owed like $30 bucks... Aint no thing Safety audit they just told me I needed to keep my truck maintenance reports...And drug test cr@p.....
But theres one thing they dont see...Thats my savings account book! $$$$$ HAHAHAHAHABig_D409 Thanks this.
