DSW only pulls swift and they will pay you less than swift will. Might as well lease on yourself to swift
-
How is it your employers responsibility to get you home? Rent a car and drove home.GladhandSW and MrIT Thank this.

DSW is Swift. They really don't even run it like a separate company, like Jerry did Central Refrigerated for a while. Swift owns the property, owns the shop, all the personal are Swift, all the trailers are Swift, all the freight is Swift.
DSW started out as Digby SouthWest. That is Digby of Navajo Digby; A son, nephew, or something of Don Digby of Navajo. Anyway this Digby couldn't get enough freight on his trucks so he leased to some of Swift's freight. But even that wasn't enough so to keep Digby afloat, Digby had to have Jerry invested some money in his company. Anyway as things always go with Jerry, Jerry's interest in your company always leads to Jerry owning your company. So thats the deal. Jerry owns the whole DSW trucking outright and is run under Swift. It referred to as Swift Tuscon terminal. Jerry keeps the DSW name but it is his.
I think the HDS school next to the DSW terminal is run by someone else, but Jerry has a hand in that too.Last edited: Dec 19, 2016

I know but there are ones who will help you get back and even if you deadhead back ,so to go thru that, never will I kiss ### for a company like that. Thank you for the response , my dad was in the oilfield driving a Kill Truck, he didn't show up for work so the mechanic went to check on him because that wasn't like him and they found him in the hallway. He had his breathing treatment machine on so it makes me think he was having a hard time breathing but it really was hI'm having a heart attack .
