Are there any companies (driver mills or otherwise) that hire drivers with no experience that have a pet program? I've heard that Arrow and US Express do, but I haven't seen any information on other companies.

You could try Con-Way Truckload... but last I heard the new hires were waiting weeks for truck assignment.

Yeah, I saw that they had a pet program on their website, but I couldn't tell if they hired people straight out of school or not. And I did read that about people waiting over a month for a truck.
I'm kinda hopin one of the reefer companies might have a pet program. I sleep like a dead horse and noise doesn't bother me what-so-ever. Plus, people still gotta eat so I figure the miles will still be there.

Of course I know that beggars can't be choosers.

I know in my searching for a company that FFE has a pet policy, not sure on the taking newbies though. And the pet policy is pretty bad compared to others. .01 cpm for all miles pet is on the truck.
Magnum out of Omaha, Ne. takes newbies and has a pet policy I have found from a few of the post I read on here. I am trying to get with them to see if they have anything to offer in my area.
Werner I believe has a pet policy and takes newbies as does C.R. England from what I understand. But I have not talked to either of them. Lots of bad posts on here about C.R. England too.
Just a few of what I have found. Hope it helps you out. I have 12 years driving and am having trouble finding a company to go with.

That would be them, I had the wrong city (been applying with so many companies). But I just talked to the guy today and they said they don't have anything available. They had one truck open but it got filled. Who knows. I know US Express takes newbies with pets. Eh...
