Driver rescued from T/T hanging from Louisville bridge

I hope the Sysco was going the other way and avoided vehicles coming on to his side. The EV was avoided by a bunch of people till a pick up hit it because it had 4 ways on .

 

All of this because an EV ran out of juice. Go figure. These cars are starting to become more hazardous to the people not driving them than the ones behind the wheel!

 

She explained during the video that the car was starting to act strangely, and she was trying to get it back to the Carvana dealer she purchased it from.
Bad spot for any vehicle to break down. But at least with a conventional ICE vehicle, persons nearby might have been able to at least push it to the right lane. Many EV's once the electrical circuitry goes haywire, you can't get in or out, roll the car, anything.
I have parked behind a broken down vehicle in these kinds of cases with my tractor trailer, and at least if someone hits me, I can handle it better than the car.

Here is another case of an EV that didn't go well, involving the sister of Elaine Cho, former Secretary of Transportation, wife of retiring Senator Mitch McConnell.

 

Carvana said that they weren’t taking the car back because it was damaged. They’ve been under a lot of scrutiny over the past year or so because of various issues. Missing vehicle titles,plates and registration and in one case in Florida they sold a car that was reported stolen out of Texas!

 

Update: Idiot 4 wheeler in a pickup truck started the whole thing! Moron was driving on a suspended license!

They showed the dashcam footage during the pickup truck driver’s arraignment hearing. Hopefully the judge will throw the book at him!

 

They need to..he was out on bond for driving while suspended in Indiana at the time of this incident

 

After seeing this video and crossing near the bridge but on the Abraham Lincoln bridge every other week while leaving my Frankfort, KY pickup going to Hamburg, IN for my 2nd Pickup. Makes me realize how scary she must of felt hanging there in the cab and how strong that fifth wheel and king pin really is!.

 

Tbh I think the reefer fuel tank is all that prevented her from swimming ..
