The song that soothes the savage beast?
Actually, I thought it was money. I'll drive anything for a price.

I wish my company would enforce the clean truck rule.I spend time cleaning my assigned truck and the city guy (the guy who drives it in the day time) just screws it all up.It's very hard to get company drivers to take care of there trucks, unless ur like me that like's a clean rig weather it's mine or not.

:biggrin_25516:I always wash my own truck, usually at home, in the driveway. That's because the owner/company doesn't want to pay for a wash more than once a month. I don't mind one bit washing it, guess because I'm a clean freak. I even polish the wheels/tanks on my own time. Oh, and I also wash the trailer, by hand. You see, I like a nice clean truck to drive down the interstate. And inbetween washes, there's usually a hose at a Pilot/Loves fuel island that I take advantage of and get the dust off, that is if there is no one waiting behind me to fuel. Sometimes, you can find a coin-op wash bay that can accomidate a truck, plus I always carried a 25' garden hose and soap and brush. Oh, BTW, I am 63 years old. :biggrin_25516:

Once I get up and running, I will have to steal you away from your current employer.

My plan has been put on hold as a result of Obama and his reduction in force in Iraq. I am trying to find another job over there. If I do I will pick back up on getting this thing going.
