    He should have saw the low clearance sign,
    but most every map I ever saw never listed low clearences on local city streets.

    True trucker atlases do though.But none the less this is another driver who depends on the GPS and doesn't know how to read signs.What I'm noticing is more and more drivers can't think or do anything for themselves.

    No they don't .
    They list the low bridges for say State Highway 12 and say whether Hwy 12 is a Restricted Route or not,
    But the last 3 or 4 miles of city and county roads to the customer is where these bridge strikes happen
    And that's mainly where a driver needs to pay attention,

    I said truckers atlas.I think in the back it list all low clearance.Besides anyone with half a brain should know its too low just by looking at it.

    Ok, which trucker's atlas then?
    And yes it's obvious it's too low. That's not the question. The question is you stated low bridges for local roads are in a truckers atlas.

    If not an atlas, at least keep a copy of this in the cab for reference.
