Driver Solutions, P.A.M/USA Truck vs Prime vs Swift.

I know USA would probably be able to get you thru the house quite a bit since they run east quite a bit and they are a solid company, however their trucks are really bare bones. I work there for a short time and it was ok and a steady paycheck, but a typical mega fleet company.

Prime probably has the nicest equipment of the bunch but that's all I know about them.

Swift probably has the most opportunities in regards to other forms of driving or getting on a dedicated route.

Pam, I know nothing about.

If I had to go over the road right now and those were the only companies I could pick.......... I would commit suicide. No I'm just kidding, I would go with Swift, but that's just me and where I'm located. For you in WV that might not be a good thing.

I also am leaning toward Swift as my choice since i'm in the same situation as you. Who knows we may run into each other down the road...

 

Mikos, I was just down in Parkersburg last weekend. I was scheduled for USA, but started reading the threads about Millis. Sent my app. I'm heading there on the 27th.

 

Well whatever you decide go into it with a good attitude and i'm sure everything will work out...

 

Well, two years ago we made the decision to go with Swift when Schneider suddenly shut it's schools. We're really glad that happened and that we went with Swift. It's not been perfect but then what job is? We've always gotten good miles both on this dedicated fleet and when we were OTR. We're happy at Swift and plan to remain a while.

Millis Tranfer - you can google the web addy. Forum kinda frowns on liinks sometimes.

They are based out of WI. But have a school in Ohio between Cinci & Dayton.
