Driver, stops at night due to fatigue, threatened with termination and loss of pay

I didn't bother to watch...so I'll just go w/my usual I don't get it answer..
and for those of you new at this its real simple...
You (driver)I'm exhausted...not going to be on time due to(fill in blank)and now I'm too tired to continue SAFELY...

Dispatch--No YOU must go I don't care blah blah

You--I didn't call to ask permission..Im going to BED..ill call in when rested and rolling have a nice day....

Then you go to bed....what is so ####### hard about that?

that's a darn good video that needs to be sent to congress.

i bet a lawsuit could be filed also.

sleep for 10 and he's expected to sleep the next 10. SERIOUSLY. who the heck sleeps for 20 hours????
told to walk around, grab a cup of coffee, ( i don't drink that crap), grab energy drinks and bars and let's deliver that load. add to that, safety violation, (apparently he already has a couple ). loss of job, and no last paycheck.

don't know about you all, but i bookmarked that video.

 

He was probably a rookie, no way them guys get away with that with an experienced driver. Personally I would of took the break and after that discussion with them 3 morons, would of drove the truck back empty to Dakota City & went on about my business.

 

Abe is a tool. I've had runs like that. Don't ask permission, just take a nap. Night dispatch is useless, they're too busy watching porn on their cell phones to notice the truck isn't moving.

 

What most over look is he accepted the load... he first said he could do it... then, when ne cojldnt do what ne said he could... he set up his video, put on his tired face and voice and called dispatch...

Also.. if I remember, his later actions show he was not a person with a good work ethic.. I believe he abandoned his truck....

Also, if I remember right, he was making all sorts of you tube videos... he drove for Werner and made videos before going to KB...

The one thing that cracks me up about all those driver sharing their expertise on you tube... always geared at new drivers... how much money do they make on those you tube videos... must be a lot cause they certainty take up a lot of their driving job time to make them...

And what also amuses me... when they video themselves doin any trucking work, they move around like sloths.. no hussle... and a lot of talk about how hard the job is or how har they work and run...

 

I've had plenty of loads like that, I can understand why the dispatch was mad. I don't like the fact that they mocked him but I can see why they were upset.

When I first seen this I thought they were asking him to run illegal.

 

The FMCSA has whistleblower hotline.I hope he used it.

 

Why do say he is a "TOOL"?
Do you have some info on Abe obtained as and admin. the rest of us aren't privy too?

 

Most of us saw through all the videos and realized he was nothing but a drama queen. Then after we didn't kiss his rear end to his liking he made a video badmouthing the TTR website.

Plus iirc, he abandoned his truck.

Nothing about Abe on this site is secret. There are quite a few threads pertaining to him. He even posted in one.
