    I agree.

But oh wait... let me rephrase. Im actually running out of things new to contribute or to defend or prosecute (Debate). There were times in my life that taint no one but God saw something once or twice or... ahem... something else. I'll answer for that in due time. Nothing BAD, just a work around in a difficult sitaution here and there. I once ordered the TA mechanic to implement a full 1500 dollar A/C replacement in it's entirety in Savannah TA knowing full well I need to beg forgiveness once my shop finds out I need a comcheck for that amount. They exploded. I think they still yell to this day. As well they should.

I feel bad, a little bit. But darn it if that A/C aint the best in the south... frosted the windows.

For some individuals, due to one mistake or a series of mistakes, those "dime a dozen" jobs can very quickly dry up, possibly becoming totally NON-existent.

God bless every American and their families! God bless the U.S.A.!

We founded a nation on principles. Lost every battle pretty much, but we managed becuase you get up and get back into the fight. France bankrupted themselves on our account along with the Dutch handing out first recongizing salutes to the american flagged ship visiting to collect some arms in trade. That made America a defacto nation in international law. Sorta. Years before we finally consumated the treaty of paris.

People Such as DeGrasse put up their entire fortunes (He was a Admiral in the carib, with about 32 warships and a assignment to go to the Chesapeake prior to yorktown, needed supplies to make the trip in the beginning of hurricane season off a small island nation unwilling to allow the letter of credit to be drawn on thier banks in that required amount (Approximately 20,000 pounds sterling which was probably around a million and half for three months provisions. in today's money going into harms way)

Some of that was actually converted into hard coin money in silver and gold. And paid to washington's troops gathered approx where washington heights was before they raised the morale to make the crossing near Kings Point and walk all the way to the head of elk maryland boarding the ships of every kind for yorktown. Otherwise they might not have moved at all and there would have been no America.

I know some of my history, but I am small fish in a place where others know more than I do and essentially what I am driving at boil this down, people put up everything they have personally so that the fight might be won. If they lost well they swung from the tree....

It's a little difficult to find such people in today's increasingly indebited and broke america.

Doesn't matter if it was balloons filled with air. It's not his to give away. I can't believe people are actually donating to his gofundme page. People are morons.

I personally don't know the back story other than the original link that was posted but it appears to me that this was a driver w integrity and compassion.
Didn't read like an act of theft.
Since his boss called him at home he must have let them know his destination, I'd be interested to hear the rest of the story.

    I wonder that myself.

Compassion? Or fear in face of a crowd eyeing that valuable and much.... coveted plywood and evaluating the possibility of having to get rid of that driver somehow to get to it. Either by a 50 dollar bribe to go buy dinner across the street before the rig got stripped all the way to possibly murder to get it.

Basically Mob rule is a theory I present. Compassion? er... ok. But is it really fear that all these ravenous wolves are gathering to get at that wood? If we really get down to it?

Idiot driver was giving out product that wasn't his!
If he went and robbed a bank to gave the money to the homeless and hungry, that does make it okay that he robbed the bank in the first place!?! no!

It's good he was fired, obviously doesn't have common sense and he is a liability to the company.

If HD is closed and no one to take the load? Layover time. Maybe drop that load in a drop lot, fetch a empty and put around Georgia a while. In some areas there are manned drop lots that are fenced and secured. Taint cost that much to stash a load and do some regional work a few days or so...
