    I got tagged for my marker light that worked,but came unplugged..The State dropped the ticket and the DOT put it on my CSA Score and it HELD...Go figure...Guilty in one court and NOT Guilty in another...The system is BROKEN.!!!!..

    The dot has been working the Augusta GA area like chickens with their heads cut off. Stopping everything, more like harrasing every truck they can find, on the SC side i saw them with a motorcycle pulled over.

    NOT true. The company name on your truck will get a letter when the violation hasnt been paid
    and that company will have to pay it & deduct. Just got through with exact same thing though
    unfait since no citation was issued seperate. State of louisiana , go figure!

    Truckman, no ticket, no fine.

    Simple as that. If they mail you one later (which I would find odd) then you deal with it. The inspection is purely CSA/SafeStat type number gathering. You didn't get put OOS, so you had a fairly decent inspection. A clean sheet would be nice. But, a light out is a light out.
