After the car market crashed in 08-09 I traveled back and forth to North Carolina to work in some cell phone stores my family ran there. I never lived there full time, but I did rent a house there. I still owned a house in Missouri. Today my recruiter is asking me about my North Carolina driver's license. I have never had a North Carolina driver's license, because I was never a full time resident. All of these things are happening after me verifying 2 weeks ago that they had everything they needed and I could give my employer notice. I am supposed to be in orientation on Monday. I can honestly say I am very worried about how unorganized Schneider is. I am also concerned that both SFI and SNI would tell me everything is good and now at the last minute they are both coming up with paperwork problems. Who knows if this driver's license thing is to their satisfaction. They checked my record. There is no missing dates between licenses. I don't see where they see any time I could have had a North Carolina license. Crazy!

If you listed a NC address, they assume you had a NC license and giving you a chance to explain before they say you falsified your application. No biggie. It is nerve racking, all this stuff coming up at the last minute.

If I quit my job, drive to Charlotte, and find out something is not right....
Unhappy will be the biggest understatement of the decade.

I am being assured everything is fine. I am sure it is. I just tried to avoid this situation by verifying and verifying again. I didn't wait until the last minute for anything. Hopefully my diligence pays off, but it is far from a smooth ride.

I'd be informing a higher up about your experience. At a minimum these recruiters need to make drivers aware at the outset of possible checks to verify as the process goes along.

That ein business needs attention on their end.
