    In December of last year, I posted about Waymo One (a Google company), which was the first “driverless” vehicle company to launch to the public (about 200 select passengers) in some areas of Phoenix, AZ. Waymo One has already tested these vehicles without anyone in the seat before launching, but they currently have a safety driver on the seat. I think I may be wrong in that driverless vehicles may need their own roads. Arizona is giving Waymo One the green light to using these vehicles on public roads right now.

    Here is a video of someone riding a Waymo One taxi a couple months ago. Notice how the vehicle makes turns without the assistance of the safety driver (except perhaps on the first turn).
