    I am thinking,,

1st , of all he may be using a factoring company.
and is having to wait 24 to 48 hours, or over the weekend, to get the money in to pay you.

2ed..In these tough economic times All company's are struggling. Big and Small.

{A} Its an election year and that always slows down freight. Slows everything.

{B} Freight will be picking up for the Holidays here very soon. But will remain sluggish till after this Presidential Election.

3rd. I know we all need a pay check on Friday.

{A} I would have a personal conversation with your boss and let him explain the situation why you are not getting paid on time. remain calm.

{B} If you cant come to some kind of personal agreement to get paid money owed, or to get paid on time in the future, this is what I suggest .

{4} Contact the employment/ unemployment office in his state or closest city his business is in, and they will instruct you as how to go about collecting your money. They will know exactly what to do cause this happens more than you think it does.

And don't worry I cant do complete sentence,s either.

so post all you want here as much as you want.
    :biggrin_25519:
And consider taking your skills to a larger trucking company that can pay you on time and will appreciated the hard work you do.

This is true, however there are an inordinate amount of Eastern European cut rate companies out of that area. I've only lived in Tennessee 4 years, lived in Florida for 38 years!

well all of what you said was most likely true
northern new jersey trucking companies you call and can't understand them on the phone
2 transam drivers quit to go to work for Aztar Trucking team driving drop and hook NJ to CA and back
ended up in a truck with a million miles and 1099 job
I dont like anyone enough to ride around in a million mile truck
