Engine & transmission build: do drivers want a Lamborghini set up for a favor in power/performance or do you want a Ferrari for favor in balance/reliability?

obviously as much quality HP & torque as a driver can get these days of BS regulations BUT just wondering.. Truck will be driven all 48, all weather, year round all lanes, mostly west i65 70% of the time.. hauling the typical 40,000 pound load and blah blah all week 3-5 loads a week all year.. routine 15k preventive 30k maintenance… resell 400k-500k milestone

after perfect set-up small order of multiple units. Thought here is what’s driver preference these days especially resale value

Doesn’t matter, they both drive the same.
All my career, I’ve never lost a clutch. Last truck had the Eaton UltraShift, the computer blew the clutch just shy of the fifth year. Good thing I had extra warranty on it.

The Allison is a more reliable transmission, very popular in the oil patch.
