Would only seem fair one would think, but no. You're doing it here is about as close as you can come. But 150,000 disgruntled drivers agains 300 major carriers???? You think all the filings would be honest and realistic? Truck drivers are notorious for stretching the truth, outright lies, major data omissions, and unrealistic expectations. I wouldn't put any stock in such a system but what do I know?

that is the reason this board was started.......originally.

Some companies have been notorious for stretching the truth. My last company put on my DAC that I was terminated. All because i asked for layover pay, food money or motel costs when their truck broke down for the fourth time out of five runs leaving me stranded for 6 days in Mt Vernon Illinois......ATI Trucking Hesperia CA. Dont work for them or any of their "sister" companies such as Landforce, Skyways Truck Driving School or Genco Inc. Thanks for the info STexan.

amen stexan. no matter which carrier you are looking for info about....you will ALWAYS find drivers who will bash them. go to a terminal...and you will find current drivers bashing them, even if the experience youve had with them is mostly good.

There is a reliable reporting system on the FMCSA site called the Safety Measurement System that does tell some information. It's kind of hard to understand but the more you read the more you'll get out of it. It's all there is out there and it doesn't list all companies but when you add all the information together you will get some insight to how a company operates. I would recommend reading all you can especially if you are out looking for a job. You can tell what kind of tickets the drivers get over and over so you'll know how their safety depeartment works. You can see what their trucks constantly get written up for to tell how they care for their trucks. So it does kind of paint a picture and it's better than nothing. Just hard to understand and very time consuming.
