    Even if the trucks are parked off the street some areas have restrictions and/or outright prohibitions on that(see Macon,Georgia,parts of Florida for reference).

    Some of them were allowed but out of the blue the local or county governments (where applicable) decided to ban them,despite that some of those owners had lived in those regions for years if not decades.
    A few folks in a county in Florida are up in arms on that matter.

    My go to San Antonio hotel has bobtail parking in their lot, on the street with a trailer. Pushing the 1,000 foot rule with some nearby neighborhoods. Honestly, I'm not going to worry about SA's rule. I gotta do what I gotta do.

    I am glad I’m retired! Anyone saying this is ok should not be driving a tractor trailer truck! I know there’s problems with piss bottles and trash and such! Because I have picked up a lot of them through the years! But the freight has to roll and we need places to park! Don’t tell me to plan better with that government box on my dash! Y’all try and keep it safe out there!
