    I remember the 76's and truck stops that were geared to the truck driver and the signs and dividers in the restaurants "Dirver's only". Those days are long gone. Truck stops are geared as much towards RV'ers and travelers/tourists as they are truck drivers nowadays. Back then, it used to mean something to be a truck driver.

    And there it is. Drives an auto then climbs in any truck and drives it like a top hand. You can't do that without time behind the wheel.

    Yea back in those days, the Big Orange Ball was about the closest thing there was to a Truckstop Chain. Flying Js were still Conocos, Pilots were still Speedway/Starvin Marvins and T/A/Petro wasnt born yet
