Maybe in full turn the steering geometry on that truck causes that side to scrub a bit more than the other. I’ve seen that plenty of times. Rotate side to side to meep them a little more even.

Another reason can be torque stress. Measure front frame to ground clearance on both sides. Usually no big deal but will eat tires on one side a bit faster

If the tires themselves are wearing even across the tread with no odd patterns and you’re getting reasonable life (100k miles) out of them, I wouldn’t worry about it. That said you should only be putting quality names up front. Michelin, Bridgestone, and to a lesser extent, Goodyear all make good steer tires.

Around our parts Goodyear is 35% cheaper against any Michelin. But you do get what you pay for, you’ll never get the mileage out of a Goodyear like you can a Michelin. But I’ve never personally seen a Goodyear steer blowout. I’m sure they happen, but never on anything we’ve had or any of the guys in my area that run them. Most of the guys around here that run them more often than not have to change them out for damage or picking up a bolt or something of the like.

I much prefer Continental or Michelin upfront than anything else myself.
