Is the $700 weekly apply to classroom training also?

Nah. The first week of classroom training and the two weeks after when uoure training on your permit are unpaid, although they will advance you cash. The two months that follow that when you get to the next phase of training with your CDL are paid $700 minimum. They might have raised it to $800. That was being talked about when I left the company last year.

Many companies will reimburse the cdl school tuition back to you in monthly installments. For example, Schneider Bulk (tankers) will reimburse $200.00 monthly to you.

Melton Truck Lines will hire you from Miller-Motte cdl school. Melton is a good outfit from what the drivers post on her. Flatbed that run coast to coast.

Senn Freight Lines is a smaller company in Newberry, SC that will hire from that school.
Senn also runs coast to coast.

Do you know any companies that will hire you from Horry-Georgetown Technical College or Miller-Motte (Conway,SC) for dry van or reefer?

I think most will hire from both.
Lots of drivers on this forum went to Miller-Motte.
    Miller-Motte is 160 hrs.
I'm not sure about the Technical College, but most are Accredited cdl programs.

So I can train on their facility and not have to go to DMV for road test? I've tried talking to both about it but I get a better answer from my dog than them. I'm honestly considering going to Miller-Motte or tech instead of CDL school (TDI) for more wiggle room in companies to apply to and not 8 companies that TDI work with. Definitely want to do a tuition pay back company and not contract

I don't know their policy for the road test. Some use the DMV and some use DMV personnel that come to the school and do the road test.
Several companies have cdl school tuition reimbursement.
