So I have been doing some looking around and have been wondering about driving team for a fleet owner with Panther. From the people I have talked to (fleet owners and Panther themselves) you can make good money doing straight trucks. My end goal is to O/O and then fleet own, so I want to learn the business essential from the inside.

Currently my wife and I team with Schneider.

I enjoyed my time with Panther until the final 60 days I was driving a Panther truck. My fleet owner wanted to pull some of his trucks off from Panther and this led to some ridiculous politics which only punished the drivers. As long as the fleet owner you are going to is 100% committed to staying with Panther, you should have great runs. If not, Dispatch becomes ########.
