Usually it's companies like Clark Transfer, Trailer Transit and Powersource that provide the O/O's that do that work. I talk to their drivers sometimes. Not a type of work schedule that appeals to me. Money can be good in some cases.

There was a thread posted here several months ago on that very subject, and as I recall it said the business is prone to many ups and downs with the summer tour schedule, not much opportunity for home time or time off in general.

Maybe try contacting the sponsors of the tours, I am sure there are companies out there that specialize in this, try to google your question and I know there are some posters here who will have some ideas as to where to start looking.:toothy4:

I had a number 3 years back to call about driving for Nascar drivers. You have to get your name put on a waiting list and if you are lucky you might get a call.....

yeah i see ads alot in trucking magazines, but some of the ones i see are for "coach" drivers. either way, "coach" or truck drivers, there is a waiting list, long wait list, long hours, long times away from home, etc, etc. i can't believe the money is any better, afterall, its just a "driving job"...........with maybe setting things up as well when you arrive at the show places...............can you say hard work, same pay, as any "ordinary" trucking job......?? i know i can...........

yeah... it's www.upstaging.com . my ex & i almost drove for them, but we got the offer when things were pretty bad at home (what... discord between a driver and his/her spouse?!?! lol). we agreed i would have had to get my CDL and drive team because the schedule was rough! the entertainers do show after show after show... sometimes with just a day or two between shows... or the next show is half-way across the country. sure, they tell you you can hang at the hotel, go backstage, etc with the group and entrourage, but who knows. and they were really particular about your truck. wanted to see exterior and interior shots, specifications, etc. ya' gotta look good, ya know!

it was tempting, tho... they already knew the entertainers we'd be driving for over the next year. groups i recognized like the rolling stones, and some i'd never heard of but my daughter said were really cool. lol if nothing else, it would've been a really cool experience, right?
