You've already decided what trucking you want to do. Why don't you just go DO IT?

Are you waiting for things to "get back to pre-scamdemic normal"? Well, don't wait. Things are going to take YEARS to sort back out, if at all.

NOW is the time to pull the trigger. Demand for Class A CDL drivers is at a level not seen since the mid-1990s. We're almost back to the pre-9/11 model of "Show me your license, breathe on this mirror, (checks for fog).....GOOD! Here's your keys, here's your trip pack, load's already a day late, get rollin'".

Near me, in Cincinnati, Coca-Cola had a "dock to driver" program for awhile.

Just based on your posts, you seem too indecisive to be a truck driver.

"IF"......(and I don't want to know if you are or not)......you are on SSI for a mental health issue, you PROBABLY WON'T pass a DOT physical.

Find a clinic that will do it for $50 or $75 bucks. Make sure you can pass one first.

If you can't save up $75 bucks from your SSI over a number of months, go sell your plasma. The money is good, but plasma is where your immune system lives, so eat healthy and HYDRATE if you do that.

I've been reading your posts for a couple years, and I think you have a condition that will prevent you from passing a DOT physical.

    Prove me wrong.

I wish you every success. I'm done.

    Good advice here.

@Ddr1992 579 many of us have followed your (many) threads and yes, some of us like to leave smart ### comments. I can't speak for everyone else, but any smart ### comment from me is just me messing with you, in a friendly way. I don't mean anything malicious by it.

But seriously, come on man, it's pretty easy to become a truck driver. What's really holding you back?

I have a couple things to work out... I'm going to look for a job driving non CDL trucks for a little while but I have some issues that need to be dealt with before that but I intend on getting my CDL for sure...

    Kyle G. Thanks this.

If you just want to drive truck but are worried about obtaining a CDL then you should try and get hired by a farm. You’ll be able to learn how to drive without needing a CDL and you’ll also get some experience running other types of equipment.

I'm going to obtain my CDL and hopefully get hired by Coca-Cola or Pepsi delivering sodas... It'll take a bit but that's my goal

If you can blindside off a one lane dirt road with 6ft ditches into a ten foot wide if your lucky field approach , we need you for fertilizer in the spring.
