Favorite has to be Hazleton, PA to Riverside, CA. Then finish it up with a shortrun down to Laredo or Houston, then home.

I was just wishing some one would do that too.I run totally solo, the longer the run the better, but in the last 5 or 6 years I haven't been able to find a company that lets solo's run the coast to coast.

big Orange will depending on where u are at, some reefer comps will too. When i lived in WA i had at least two coast 2 coast to runs a trip. I even turned down a 3000 mile run cause i had guaranteed home time after being out for 6 weeks(with a family camping trip planed). My buddy that still drives for SNI solo gets coast to coast loads, but he is out of Portland OR.Runaway02 Thanks this.

I've run coast to coast and boarder to board. I use to run from Fairbanks to Seattle and spent some time on a run from Fairbanks to Winnipeg and back.

Is coast to coast becoming a thing of the past? Are more companies going regional?
bentstrider83 Thanks this. -
Yeah a thing of the past mostly. In 1995 I did LA to NY Bronx 4 times back to back it was great. The company was no forced dispatch so nobody wanted NY city. I did it though and always got great runs.

What company?? I'm driving East Now, looking to get on with a coast to coast outfit.

More power to everyone that could handle the 48-state/coast-to-coast thing. I did it for about a year with Swift, then when I got back into driving in 2010, it was all about the regional and local for me.
When I was Swift back in '06-'07, I do recall getting quite a few, So-Cal to Florida runs. Then there were those runs that took me from NoCal out to Ohio and such.
It was nice for the time and being a beginner, but after too many disasters earlier on, I'd rather have somewhat of a routine schedule. -
I went from Laredo (79 degrees F) to Fargo (-21) in just over 24 hrs once. That's a 100 degree swing, pretty wild.Dan.S and bentstrider83 Thank this.

Laredo and Fargo, in which states?
TX to ND? Impossible in 24 hours.
